Prof. (Dr.) M. Sarojanamma

Prof. (Dr.) M. Sarojanamma M.A. (Political Science), M.L. (Constl. Law) and Ph. D. (Constl. Law) Joined as Professor of Law in Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad (MNLUA) in September, 2023. Formerly she served as Professor of Law, Associate Dean, Girls Hostel (2018-2021) School of Law, Vel Tech University, Chennai and faculty of Law, Department of Law, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. She has twenty-two years of experience as Faculty of Law and 5 years as an advocate. She did Ph.D. in Law from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on the topic “Right to Information in India: An Analysis” and got Gold Medal for her Ph.D. Work from Andhra University. She authored two books on 1) Right to Information in India and 2) Legal Language and Legal Writing and   30 Articles in reputed Law Journals.

At Present she is guiding as research supervisor for 8 Ph.D. Scholars in Law, School of Law, Vel Tech University, Chennai, RAC member for 10 Research Scholars and adjudicator for Ph.D. theses. She has worked as co-ordinator for Seminars and FDP.  She was member in DRC and BOS. Participated in many Seminars as resource person and Presented papers in more than 35 seminars. She is also Subject Expert in Selection Committee for selecting faculties in School of Law, Vel Tech University. Her areas of interest are Right to Information, Constitutional Law, Law of Contracts, Environmental Law and Law of Property.
