Ms. Sakshi Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Law at Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad, who joined immediately after completing her Masters in Corporate Law (LL.M) from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2019. She stood amongst the top 3 with a CGPA of 8.03. She cleared UGC JRF- NET exam in her first attempt while pursuing LL.M. She did her graduation from USLLS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2018 ranking amongst the top 3 of her batch. She was awarded a Gold Medal for her consistent academic excellence during school.

She is currently the Chairperson of Internship and Placement Cell of the University along with being a member of various other Academic and Post Graduate Committees. She has been invited as Guest Speaker for various academic events and as a Judge to many prestigious Moot Court Competitions. She has various paper publications in reputed Journals to her credit. She has participated and presented research papers in various National/ International Seminars and Conferences. Her essay on Sustainability and development won an award in International Legal Essay Writing Competition organized by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. She has interned at many Tier -1 Law Firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Cyril Amarchand, Khaitan and others during her Law School. She has participated in various Moot Court Competitions and was declared the ‘Winner’ and ‘Best Advocate’ in the 3rd Justice PB Sawant National Moot Court Competition, Pune.

She has administered courses on Competition Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Law of Project Finance, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property Rights, Legal Methods, Environmental Law for both UG and PG students. Her areas of interest include Company Law, Competition Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Restructuring, Securities Laws (SEBI Regulations).
