Ms. Mahenaz Azizul Haque
Ms. Mahenaz Azizul Haque is the founding faculty of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad who joined this university as Assistant Professor of English in September 2017. She has done her graduation as well as post-graduation in English Literature from R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur. She cleared SET in the year 2016 in her first attempt. She holds an M.Phil. Degree and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in English from Gondwana University, Gadchiroli (Maharashtra). With more than six years of teaching experience, she specialises and engages courses based on the interface between Law, Language, Literature, and Communication; she has been lecturing and developing curriculum in this emerging area of legal education. She has discharged additional responsibility of Warden (Girls) during the initial five years and is currently holding the additional charge of Chief Warden (Girls' Hostel) of the university. Besides being nominated as a member of Academic Council and Building Committee of this university, she has also held key positions in several committees of the university. She is heading the Centre for Law, Language, and Literature of the university. She has previously worked as the Assistant Dean, Examinations (UG). She has also participated in various national and international seminars, conferences, FDPs, workshops, etc. and is also actively involved in organizing such programmes in the university.

- Published research paper titled "Resistance to Cultural Imperialism in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah" [ISSN 2395-2636 (Print); 2321-3108 (Online)] in Vol.9 Issue.S1. 2021 of Research Journal of English Language and Literature (RJELAL) which is a peer-reviewed (refereed) International Journal.
- Presented and published research paper titled "Relevance of Edutainment in English Language Teaching" (ISSN 2456-0960) in an indexed, peer-reviewed (refereed) International Journal during two-day International Conference on "Dialoguing Borders: Vital Issues in Humanities, Commerce, IT and Management" on 6th and 7th October 2018.
Conferences/ Seminars
Ms. Mahenaz Haque has presented papers in several national and international seminars and conferences. She has also actively participated in various FDPs, Orientation and Refresher Programme, webinars, workshops, etc. Being the Faculty Convener, she has successfully organised One Day National Seminar on "Interplay between Law and Literature" at MNLU-Aurangabad on 3rd March 2019, which was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Justice R. Banumathi, Judge, Supreme Court of India (the then Chancellor, MNLUA) and many notable dignitaries from the field of law and literature. She has also been one of the Faculty Coordinators of One Week National Level Faculty Development Programme on 'Multi-disciplinary Approaches to Legal Epistemology' organized at MNLU-Aurangabad from 19th to 25th June 2022 which received an overwhelming response from academicians and scholars from varied disciplines across the country.
