Ramesh R. Manza is presently working as Professor in Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He has completed M. Sc. Computer Science in 1996, NET and SET in 2002, MSC-IT in 2004, Ph. D.in Computer Science in 2006. His areas of specialization includes Bio-Medical Image Processing, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning and Computer Vision, He has published around 187 papers at national and international conferences and around 156 papers in reputed Journals. He has completed First UGC Major Research Project on Diabetic Retinopathy of Rs. 12 Lakhs, second Major research projects sanctioned by DST on Diabetic retinopathy to bypass the retinal angiography of Rs. 24 Lakhs. Third of Rs. 32,96,000/- on "Design and Development of Hyperspectral data Analysis Tools and algorithms for end member identification" by DST.

Currently working on fourth prestigious project entitle "Establishment of Science Technology and Innovation Hub for Empowerment of SC /ST Populations" Under SEED Division, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi of Rs 1.20 CR. Total 17 students awarded their Ph. D. Degree, 29 students have been awarded M. Phil. under his guidance and 08 students are leading their Doctoral program and 02 have submitted their Ph. D. Thesis. He is author of 15 Books and editorial board member of 03 International Journals. He is coordinator, treasurer and organizing secretary of around 07 International Conferences and around 21 workshops and trainings.

He has completed 05 Refresher courses in Computer Science and IT and 01 Orientation Course. He has delivered around 57 talks and 41 key note addresses in Conferences, trainings, STTPs, Webinars, Refresher Courses, Orientation Courses, FDPs and workshops and 39 speeches in inaugural and valedictory functions. He has filed 04 patents and published 03 patents and Grant of 02 Australian Patents with Patent number 2020100878 on A non-contact type thermal imaging system and Patent number:2021100060 on "A PORTABLE REAL TIME ECG MONITORING SYSTEM" on his record. He has developed online Refresher course in Computer Science under MOOC of National Resource Centre. Currently working as Guest Associate Editor of Robot and Machine Vision of Frontiers Journal of Robotics and AI. He has conducted DST National Level Training Program of Two Weeks duration on Block Chain Technology sanction by ICPS Division of DST of Rs 9 Lakhs.
