
Dr. Tanaya Tarai is the Associate Professor of Law at MNLU-Aurangabad. She has more than Seventeen years of teaching experience. Previously, she served as the Vice-Principal of Ganjam Law College. She has done her Ph.D. in Law from Berhampur University, Odisha. She has taught courses like Contracts, Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, etc.
She has a number of publications in reputed law journals on topics like Copy Right to Computer Software a Legal Studies, Rights or Curse in Disguise, Abuse of Position and Rights of Girl Child, Protection of Rights of Migrant Labours- With reference to Odisha, The National and International Norms and Treaties for Old age Protection, Identifying Common Strength for Legal Aid and Legal Empowerment to strengthen Access to Justice in India,Supreme Court rules over cooling period for divorce under Hindu Marriage Act, Free legal Aid in India & Role of Judiciary, Martal Rape:A Comparative International Legal Studies, Advantage of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility): A Case Study on Development programme in Tribal Areas of Odisha and Jharkhand and also authored several books dealing with the issues of women, children, and South Asian Trade Laws & Indo-Sri Lanka Free Trade to her credit. She was also working as Legal Officer in a Sri Lanka bassed company, served as Social Worker for the Lok-Adalat cases and associated with the District Legal Services Authority as a Trainer to the PLVs.
