Dr. Ashok Wadje, is currently working as Associate Professor of Law and Registrar I/c of Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad. Dr. Ashok Wadje was awarded with Ph.D. degree in Cyber Law from Symbiosis International University, Pune. He is also Post-Doctorate Research Fellow in the field of Cyber Law, pursuing an advanced research course in the field of Law. His areas of interest are Cyber Law, Family Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Jurisprudence and Legal Theories.
He has more than 30 research papers published to his credit in several National and International publications including Peer Reviewed and UGC Authorized Journals and Books.
In additional to Teaching and Key administrative responsibilities in the University, he is also discharging work of Legal Aid Activities in the University as Nodal Faculty for the Pro Bono Club Scheme of the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India and Legal Aid Clinic established by the State Legal Services Authority of Maharashtra State in the University.
Dr. Ashok Wadje was invited by National Commission on Women (NCW), New Delhi, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice, Maharashtra State Commission on Women, Ministry of Law and Justice, Bureau of Police Research & Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for several consultation and related programmes about review of laws, UGC Human Resource Development Centre, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), District and Sessions Court, Superintendent of Police (S.P.) of Nanded district etc. He was also invited by prominent Law Schools and NLUs in the country as an Expert in the field of Law for various assignment such as Resource Person, Expert invitee, Guest speaker, Judge in several National level Moot Court Competition and as Panelist in several national and international academic programmes.
He has an experience of handling key positions in various National Law Universities where he worked, such as Registrar of NLU, Nodal Officer of the University, Proctor, Chief Warden, Assistant Controller of Examination and also being a Member of the various Councils of the University, till date.
