The Centre for Public Law, MNLUA was established in 2022 with the aim of disseminating thorough knowledge and developing critical thinking of Public Law among students. Its aim is to provide the students with the current trends and ongoing developments in the field of Public Law. This includes talks on policies and schemes of the executive, Bills passed by the Legislature, and the Judgements delivered by the Judiciary.

Thorough knowledge and understanding of Public Law (the law relating to the relationship between the State and the citizens) and the underlying principles - is an essential part of statecraft. Public Law tries to analyze and understand relation between State & the Citizens. Broadly Constitutional Law, Administrative law, Economic Law, Criminal Law are considered to be pillars of Public Law. This centre will focus on identifying problems and then will provide legal solutions to the problems.

Constitutional Law, Administrative Law are dynamic and vibrant subjects. With everyday's' advancement in knowledge, technology new issues are arising. The Centre will provide platform to identify such problems and to provide legal solutions to such Problems. The Centre will go beyond it and will also provide solutions through Policy Making.

A significant number of faculty members, students have research interest in the field of Public Law. The Centre will provide the platform to conduct the research on public law and public policy. The Centre will collaborate with other stakeholders for the same. (By entering MoU with NGOs, Policy-framing Centers, Research Centers etc.)
