Hon’ble Smt. Justice R. Banumathi, Born on 20.07.1955. Enrolled on 07.01.1981. Practised in Mofussil Courts at Tirupattur, Krishnagiri and Harur, State of Tamilnadu. Entered Tamilnadu Higher Judicial Service as a direct recruit District Judge in 1988 and worked as District and Sessions Judge in various Districts of the State. Elevated as a Judge of High Court of Madras on 03.04.2003.

As a Member of Board of Governors and as President of Board of Governors in State Judicial Academy, played a key role in organising systematic Training Programmes for judicial officers and staff members. Authored the Book "Hand Book of Civil and Criminal Courts Management and Use of Computers" for guidance of District Judiciary and published Hand Books for the guidance of Judicial Ministerial Staff. Executive Chairman of the Tamilnadu State Legal Services with effect from 15.07.2013. Chairman of Madras High Court Legal Services Committee from 21.02.2011 to 20.01.2012 and actively involved in Legal Services and organizing Lok Adalats.

Sworn as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court on 16.11.2013. Instrumental in improving the infrastructure of the District Judiciary, recruitment and filling up vacancies of Ministerial Staff. Published Hand Books for guidance of judicial officers and staff members.

Hon’ble Shri. Justice Pradeep Nandrajog
Chief Justice of High Court of Bombay

Hon’ble the Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog was born on 24th February 1958. After graduating from Delhi University in the year 1978, he obtained Bachelor's Degree in Law from Delhi University in the year 1981 and was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in the year 1981. His practice of Law included Arbitration, Commercial, Service, Election, Land Revenue, Company and Miscellaneous Writ Matters. He was a Counsel for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for about 6 years and was the nominated Counsel for the Election Commission of the Government of NCT Delhi over about 2 years.

He was elevated as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on 20th December 2002 and became a Permanent Judge on 16th April 2004.Elevated as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court w.e.f. 02.04.2017.Assumed the office of Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court on 7th April, 2019.

Prof. Dr. K. V. S. Sarma

Prof. Dr. K. V. S. Sarma (Kolluru Venkata Somanatha Sarma), who is presently working as the Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad (From August, 2019). Earlier, he was the Professor of Law, NALSAR UNIVERSITY OF LAW, HYDERABAD (From July, 2005).

He enrolled as an advocate in BAR Council of Andhra Pradesh on 11th November, 1983. He started his teaching careers from 1st April, 1989. He joined in NALSAR UNIVERSITY OF LAW on 1st April, 1999. He worked as a Registrar, NALSAR UNIVERSITY OF LAW, Hyderabad: i) 17th July, 2008 to 25th July, 2011; ii) 20th March, 2012 to 27th February, 2013;

He is professional Arbitrator. He was presiding Arbitrator in the dispute between NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd) and Singareni Collieries Ltd., SINGARENI COLLIERIES LTD. (disputed amount worth 38 Crores). He is also nominated as a Permanent Arbitrator in Water Health India Ltd.,(Subsidiary of US Company) for all disputes between the Company and various Panchayats in the countries

Previously he was holding Consumer Law Chair Professor (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, New Delhi), NALSAR UNIVERSITY OF LAW, Hyderabad (From January, 2016) and Head Centre for Consumer and Competition Law, NALSAR UNIVERSITY OF LAW. In Charge, LL.M (Corporate and Commercial Law).

He was a Member (Legal Expert and Vice-Chairmen) of Institutional Ethics Committee, NIZAM INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, HYDERABAD

Presently he is a Member of Stem Cell Committee (Legal Expert), NIZAM INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, HYDERABAD. He received The Best Teacher’s Award from State Government of Telangana on 5th September, 2018.

Dr. Ashok Panditrao Wadje

Dr. Ashok Wadje is Asst. Professor of Law at MNLU, Aurangabad. He has done his Ph.D. degree in Cyber Crime Law from Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune and has cleared National Eligibility Test (N.E.T.) in Law subject. He has completed his LL.M. from Symbiosis International University, Pune specialising in Business & Cyber Laws. He is having more than 7 years of teaching experience in law field. Before joining MNLU, Aurangabad he was working as Asst. Professor of Law in National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU-Jodhpur). Besides academic accomplishments and achievements, he has published many research papers & articles in Journals and Books of national as well as international repute.

He was also invited as Resource Person and Panelists in various Conferences and Seminars in India. He has participated in various Training Programmes organized for Law Teachers in National Law Universities. He has also participated in several Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Refresher Courses and Faculty Development Programmes. He has also been actively involved in number of Community Lawyering Programmes and Legal Aid, Services and Pro-Bono activities. Activities such as research work on Geographic Indications (GI) for the GI Stakeholders, Indo-American Project on Legal Aid and Legal Services in collaboration with City University New York, New York Law School, on the Rights of Sex Workers. As a part of the community lawyering he has also worked in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority, District & Sessions Court, on several projects of Legal Aid and Legal Services, in the Marathwada region. Also, he was called upon to impart the training to practicing Advocates on various aspects of Cyber Law and Cyber Crimes through Continuous Legal Education Programme for the Lawyers by Bar Council of India. His areas of interest and research are Cyber Laws, Family Laws, Jurisprudence ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Mechanisms and Legal Aid and Legal Services activities (Pro-Bono legal aid & services activities).

At MNLU, Aurangabad, currently he is holding various responsibilities apart from Teaching such as, Registrar In-Charge, ADR Cell, Legal Aid & Legal Awareness Committee, Wardenship for Boys Hostel, and is also Editorial Member of Republic Law Review, a flagship Journal of MNLU, Aurangabad.



Dr. Tanaya Tarai
OSD (Academics & Publications)

Dr. Tanaya Tarai is the Officer on Special Duty for academics at MNLU-Aurangabad. She has more than Seventeen years of teaching experience. Previously, she served as the Vice-Principal of Ganjam Law College. She has done her Ph.D. in Law from Berhampur University, Odisha. She has taught courses like Contracts, Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, etc. She has a number of publications in reputed law journals on topics like Copy Right to Computer Software a Legal Studies, Rights or Curse in Disguise, Abuse of Position and Rights of Girl Child, Protection of Rights of Migrant Labours- With reference to Odisha, The National and International Norms and Treaties for Old age Protection, Identifying Common Strength for Legal Aid and Legal Empowerment to strengthen Access to Justice in India, Supreme Court rules over cooling period for divorce under Hindu Marriage Act, Free legal Aid in India & Role of Judiciary, Martal Rape:A Comparative International Legal Studies, Advantage of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility): A Case Study on Development programme in Tribal Areas of Odisha and Jharkhand and also authored several books dealing with the issues of women, children, and South Asian Trade Laws & Indo-Sri Lanka Free Trade to her credit. She was also working as Legal Officer in a Sri Lanka bassed company, served as Social Worker for the Lok-Adalat cases and associated with the District Legal Services Authority as a Trainer to the PLVs.



Milind Vithal Mahajan

Milind Vithal Mahajan completed his PG Diploma in Finance & Tax Management from Barkatullah University, Bhopal (MP) in the year 1998. He completed his B. Com. in the year 1997 and M. Com. in the year 2000 from Barkatullah University, Bhopal (MP). Before joining the Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad, he has worked with the National Law Institute University, Bhopal as Accountant later as Manager Accounts with the M/S Kumar Infratech & Construction P. Ltd. Bhopal and then has worked with M/S. UPL- Gharpure Engineering & Constructions Pvt. Ltd. as Sr. Manager Accounts (HOD Accounts) at Chinchwad, Pune (Maharashtra) Head Office. .

Dr. Prakash S. Bansod completed his M.A. Sociology in 1979 from Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad with First Class. He also completed his M. Lib. ISC in 1989 Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad with First Class.He obtained Ph. D. in Library and Information Science from Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad in the year 2013. He has written 2 books and published various papers in research journals and conferences. Before joining Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad, he worked with the Govt. College of Education, IASE, Aurangabad. He has 33 years of experience in rendering active library services. .
